Device mounting & Power Supply - ZD

Anchor Zevon Direct is suitable primarily for Industrial environment. Therefore, Sewio advices to mount the anchor: 

• Zevon Direct: Anchor + QuickMount + Cable Gland (+ antenna mount - not included in the package)
• 1D LOCALIZATION 
  • When using 1D localization, always mount the Direct Anchor horizontally
  • Always tilt the anchor vertically based on either:
    • Anchor installation guide provided by the Support team
    • Value provided from the Planner

• 2D LOCALIZATION
  • When using 2D localization, always mount the Direct Anchor horizontally
  • Always tilt the anchor vertically based on either:
    • Anchor installation guide provided by the Support team
    • Value provided from the Planner

quickMOUNT PRO LHG

Sewio provides quickMOUNT PRO LHG holder with Anchor Zevon Direct - this mount comes as a standard and is included with each anchor

Power Over Ethernet (Active PoE) and daisy chaining

Anchor Zevon Direct supports IEEE 802.3at/bt Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power delivery and communication with the RTLS Server.

After connecting the anchor to a PoE power source:

1. The Status LED blinks blue several times during startup.
2. Once initialization is complete, the LED turns off, indicating normal operation.

Daisy-Chain Support

Anchor Zevon Direct supports PoE daisy chaining, allowing multiple anchors to share a single Ethernet cable run.

• Up to five (5) Zevon anchors can be connected in a single daisy-chain configuration.
• Only Zevon platform anchors should be connected to the PoE OUT port.
• Ensure the PoE source provides sufficient power for all connected devices.
