Creating Events

Events are crucial elements of RTLS.io logic. RTLS.io is dependent on the zones in your system. Only one zone per event may be selected.

Create Event Form

• Name - a custom name for your event;
• Metric - a type of event;
  • Zone Enter - the event will be in progress when the tag is inside of the selected zone;
  • Zone Exit - the event will be in progress when the tag is NOT inside of the selected zone;
• Tag(s) - what tags should trigger the event;
  
  • Single Tag - the event will be fired when selected tag fulfills the metric;
  • Category (created in SAGE) - the event will be fired when any of the tags from this category fulfill the metric;
  • All Tags - the event will be fired when any tag fulfills the metric;
• Zone - what zone should trigger the event;
